Ryujin (Korean: 류진) is a is a Korean rapper under JYP Entertainment. She is the Center, Main Rapper, Lead Dancer, and Sub-Vocalist of ITZYshe have an older brother born in (1998).

Career

2018-2019: MIXNINE, Debut with ITZY

In October 2017, Ryujin became a contestant on YG's MIXNINE as a contestant under JYP Entertainment. For the girls team, she ended ranking 1st, but didn't debut in the resulting debut. Later, Ryujin was asked by YG's Yang Hyun-suk to join the agency, but she refused. Months later on August 31, 2018, JYP confirmed he was preparing to debut a new girl group, which would include Ryujin. She officially debuted with ITZY on February 12, 2019 in their first single "IT'z Different".
