Sana (Korean: 사나; Japanese: サナ) is a Japanese singer and dancer under JYP Entertainment. She is the Vocalist and Lead Dancer of TWICE, and debuted with them in their first mini album The Story Begins.
Career[]
2015-2016: Debut with TWICE[]
In 2015, Sana competed on JYP's survival show, SIXTEEN. In the final episode, she ranked in the top 7, and debuted with girl group TWICE on October 20, 2015. A little later the next year, she was also revealed to be a Special MC for Music Core along with BTS's Jungkook.[1] On July 12, she was also revealed to appear on KBS's reality show "The Return of Superman" Nayeon and Jihyo as well.[2] Later on December 21, Sana was also chosen to be a special MC for KBS's 2017 Song Festival.[3]
2018: More Reality and Music Shows[]
In the beginning of 2018, Sana would also appear on KBS 2TV's "Hello Counselor" along with Tzuyu and Jeongyeon. The episode would first air on April 1.[4][5][6] On April 26, she was also confirmed as a part of the Global MC Crew for M! Countdown along with Lee Dae-hwi and Chungha.[7][8][9][10]
